Turns out they like this thing called 'Meile' or some such spelling...They didn't want the one @ the condo, so they told us to take it when we left -- just so happened our Hoover Cyclonic (which I don't recommend -- waaay too messy to empty) had JUST died.

So off we go w/ this Hoover Self-propelled "Wind Tunnel" w/ HEPA filter-thing, that I knew nothing about. I LOVE IT!! I'm w/ BeadingGem -- I LOVE the filter, & it picks up everything...careful w/ your cat...

Don't know what the price is, though...I suspect it's higher than the Walmarts, but nowhere near Rainbow or Dyson.

Good luck!Susannahhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17706229786132028791noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3713030349047688542.post-19079001230818460272010-09-14T08:51:32.315-05:002010-09-14T08:51:32.315-05:00I've never bought the expensive ones either. I have a bottom of the line Eurika (OK spelling is not my best subject, but you get what I mean.) but it works great. Picks up everything and is easy to operate.Tonyahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00813268632993119604noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3713030349047688542.post-25080035064175774442010-09-12T20:22:02.976-05:002010-09-12T20:22:02.976-05:00Too technical for me :)Too technical for me :)Teena in Torontohttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14875608173791872449noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3713030349047688542.post-13657323148789792452010-09-12T18:15:53.748-05:002010-09-12T18:15:53.748-05:00My last high dollar Bissell died recently, so I bo...My last high dollar Bissell died recently, so I bought the cheapest upright, bagless at Walmart, which was an el cheapo Bissell.
