It's been over 15 years since my divorce was final. It's been just about 15 years since I had to sell my house so I would not lose it, and embarked on an adulthood of continuous renting. There have been many days when I thought I would never be able to ever own my own home again.
Tonight I went and looked at 2 townhouses. The first one was all redone - new floors, new paint, new kitchen, new appliances, upstairs, downstairs, full basement, 2 and a half baths ..
Is it wrong that I may put an offer on the very 1st one I looked at? It's beautiful!
But oh my - scary!
.
GO FOR IT!!!
ReplyDeleteI am a kitchen and Bath Designer and I love the kitchen! Congrats! hope it all works out for you!
ReplyDeleteMahala - somehow I think you totally understand. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the professional opinion Angee!
Bette Jo,
ReplyDeleteHow exciting for you! I understand the hesitation for getting the first one you see. I do that with shoes or clothes or most anything I buy. But a home, usually "speaks" to you. When we bought this house I knew as soon as I walked in the door. (The house # was 28 - my lucky number)
Been here 30 years come Halloween!
Good Luck with what ever you decide.
Bev
I'd say trust your gut feeling and go for that gorgeous place!
ReplyDeleteIf it speaks to you then it was meant to be. Go for it!
ReplyDeleteIt's new! All new! Again, amazing days. :)
ReplyDeleteHow exciting! I've never owned my own house - maybe one day...
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome! Hope it all goes smoothly for you.
ReplyDeleteThere's another offer on it, :( but my thought is - if it's meant to be .. it will be. There are other houses. I've just never had a brand new oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer, furnace .. and OMG a GARBAGE DISPOSAL!!! There are many times my kids were in danger over the years - from me trading them for a garbage disposer. :) But if it's not meant to be mine, I will continue looking.
